The Human Resource Specialist position is responsible for supporting the Human Resource Director in multiple areas and assistance in managing the needs of the Company’s employee population. This would include assisting with employment paperwork and filing of client specific form requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities –(Clients, Candidates, Staff)
|
|
|
- Accurately process New Hire/Change forms for both Corporate and Field Professionals including but not limited to release of new employment documents, arranging details of background checks (as needed), badging field professionals at worksite (as needed) and release of first payroll.
- Maintain roster of current, new and former field professionals via PayChex Weekly Update. Report should be managed with critical eye for details including but not limited to assignment start dates, estimated end dates and final end dates.
- Support Company goal of error-free payroll by providing accurate information related to new hires, salary adjustments, per diem payments, employee benefits, etc. and review bi-weekly payroll summary for accuracy, based on above-mentioned information. Assist in maintenance of company policies and guidelines, as appropriate.
- Assist with employee benefit options (401k program, Supplemental Insurance, et al) and assist Human Resource Director research, as appropriate.
- Understand HR John Hancock audit process.
- Assist with backup support to corporate staff as needed, with approval from Human Resource Director.
- Assist Human Resource Director with the development and maintenance of Company Handbooks.
- Monitor and research IRS and Department of Labor regulations pertaining to wages, taxes, unemployment and per diem issues and assist in identifying areas of risk or need for policy review/ revision.
- Assist with End-Of-Year Report with the Vice President/Business Development in support of accurate employment
numbers for year end transitions. Submit report to the President on a specified timeline for review and discussion.
- Supervise and manage Human Resource Administrative Assistant in training needs and performance tasks.

White-Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee the organization's human resources functions. Position will be the top HR role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Will have broad generalist focus with supervisory responsibility for four HR staff members.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business or a related field; PHR or SPHR certification; at least six years' progressively-responsible HR experience with at least four years' supervisory/management responsibility. Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required. Strong computer, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
