Michele Burns
Michele Burns
is District Manager for Kelly Services and has been with Kelly in the Fort Walton Beach area for over 20 years. She earned a
Bachelors degree in Marketing from the University of West Florida. She has been a member of SHRM-ECC since 1989 holding various board positions. She
is a member of the Elks Lodge and volunteers with the American Cancer Relay and Toys for Tots. Michele is also a member of ASTD and held many board
positions on the Workforce Connection Inc. board.

Michelle Williams, SPHR
Michelle Williams is a Human Resources Generalist for Qualis Corporation. Qualis Corporation is a high technology business providing technical
services in the areas of engineering analysis, design, testing, and support services to both commercial and Government customers. She has been in the
Human Resources field for over 10 years and became SPHR certified in January 2007. She is a member of both SHRM National and SHRM-ECC. Michelle
is also a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

Tina Eakes is a Human Resources Generalist with Cox Gulf Coast. She has been in HR for 4 years and initially worked with Cox as a Recruiter. She
holds a Bachelors degree in Management from Troy University and became PHR certified in June 2007. Tina is currently serving as both the Director at
Large – Membership and the Treasurer for SHRM ECC and has been on the board since 2006. Tina has been a member of SHRM – ECC since 2005.

Lynndriette Rome, PHR is a Human resource Generalist with Boeing . She has over 14 years of experience in the personnel/human resources field, 11
of those being in the US Air Force. Lynndriette earned a BA in Human
Resources Administration from Saint Leo University and is currently
pursuing her Master of Science degree in Management with Troy State University. Lynndriette is a member of both SHRM National and SHRM-ECC and
has previously served on the board as Director of Diversity for two years.

Relations: Kay Godwin, SPHR
Kay Godwin is the Human Resources Director for Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners. She is a native of Okaloosa County with over 26
years of human resources experience. Kay holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration from St. Leo College and a Master of Public
Administration degree from Troy State University. She is certified by HRCI as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is a long-time member of
SHRM National and SHRM/ECC serving as Secretary of the Board in 2003 and 2004. She is also a member of the American Society of Training and
Development, the Florida Public Personnel Association, World at Work and a mentor with Take Stock in Children, Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation.

Laura Kirby is a Corporate Relocation Coordinator for Coldwell Banker United REALTORS in Northwest Florida. She works with companies that have transferees moving to the area and helps them relocate. Coldwell Banker United, is a full service company that has 42 offices and is consistently the number one real estate company on the Emerald Coast. Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in Advertising/Marketing at the University of Florida. She has been in marketing and the real estate field for 25 years.

Tami Manard
Tami Manard has been the Assistant Director, Human Resources with TYBRIN Corporation since February 2005. Prior to her employment with TYBRIN. Tami served as Director of Human Resources with Micro Systems, Inc. for 10 years. Other human resource positions held by Ms. Manard include Human Resources Representative with Waste Management Inc. and Director Human Resources for Marriott Hotels. Ms. Manard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and has held the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification since 1992. She served on the board of the SHRM-Emerald Coast Chapter for 8 years holding various positions including Workforce Readiness, Public Relations, Certification Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect and President.

Sharon Adams, PHR
Sharon Adams is a Senior Supervisor with Kelly Services, A Fortune 500 International Staffing Agency. She has been recruiting and staffing Administrative, Light Industrial, Accounting, and Technical Professionals since 2000. She was previously employed with the State of Florida for 18 years in various capacities including Child Protective Investigator, Juvenile Probation Officer, Intake/Court Officer, and Foster Care/Adoptions Counselor. Sharon is a graduate of Florida State University (B.S.) with Co-majors in Psychology and Criminology. She joined SHRM-ECC in 2006 and this is her fourth year to volunteer on the board. She is certified by the HRCI as a professional in Human resources (PHR) since
2008.

Revenue Chairman: Mike Carraway
Mike Carraway is Vice President of the Financial Services Division of Fisher- Brown, Inc. Mike has been in the employee benefits business for
over 20 years. Before joining Fisher-Brown, Inc. in 2000, his extensive background began in 1987 with a Third Party Administrator specializing in
fully and self-insured medical plans, followed by several years as a
sales representative for carriers such as Principal, Humana, and BCBS of SC.
Mike’s experience on the carrier side allows him to provide the highest level of service to his clients that range from 100 –
3,000 employees. Mike has positioned Fisher-Brown, Inc. as a leader in the employee benefits market and this leadership allows them to negotiate the most favorable
plans and costs for their clients.

Workforce
Readiness: Larry Tipton
Larry has been employed with JobsPlus and the Workforce Development Board for the past three years. He is currently the Director of Business Services working with employers and job seekers and monitoring the local business landscape. Larry has worked in multiple career fields and has developed a wide array of business and human resource knowledge. Larry proudly served 20 years in the Air Force as a mechanic, manufacturing engineer, and recruiting manager. Following his retirement, he was employed by American Water Company for 14 years as an Operations Superintendent managing local water supply systems in Indiana. Larry so enjoyed the Florida panhandle living when he was stationed here in the early 1980’s that he elected to return in 2006 and currently resides in Crestview to be near family and grandkids.

LaVonne Vasquez
is a Master's of Science Management Degree Career Counselor (1990 - Present) Airman & Family Readiness Center,
Hurlburt Field Part of the Panhandle Job Fair Corporation. Assist military transitioning
members and their families with job searches, resumes, interviewing
techniques and plan and execute two job fairs annually. As a Community Readiness consultant, assist military spouses with career issues and job
search, assist military members and families with financial concerns, budgets etc as well as any family issues with communication, deployments
and life.

Ambassador: Ken Mallory
Ken is the Human Resources Director for Micro Systems, Inc., a Department of Defense contractor supplying aerial target command systems. He has worked in the Human Resources field for 35 years, including 24 years active duty in the United States Air Force. Prior to his current position, Ken held was the Director of Human Resources for Gulf Coast Youth Services, a contracted organization with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. He holds an Associates Degree in Personnel Management and a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management from Troy University. Ken served on the board of the Emerald Coast SHRM as Communications Chair in 2008 and 2009. He is a member of the Emerald Coast Business Leadership Network and has been a Mentor with Take Stock in Children, Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation for the past four years. He is a member of the National SHRM and has been a member of SHRM-ECC since 2005.
